About This Stay
Room 407 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment on the fourth floor of the Watermark Hotel, an oceanfront property at the heart of Kite Beach in Cabarete. It sleeps five and carries the services a small hotel can offer and a standalone rental usually can't: a concierge, a Kite Caddy, a private pool, a hot tub, and a rooftop balcony built around the sunset.
Height is the argument for the top floor. Three flights up, nothing in the building sits above you but the roof — the beach reads end to end, you can watch the whole break and pick out who's riding it, and the trade wind arrives unobstructed. Floor-to-ceiling windows bring the ocean, the light and the breeze into the apartment. The rooftop sunset deck is a short flight from your door.
The building is small: eight units across four floors, sixteen bedrooms in total, so the pool, the hot tub and the roof never feel like resort infrastructure. Kite Beach is the reason to be here — schools and rental centres are on the same sand, and downtown Cabarete is five minutes away when you want dinner and music instead of wind. The concierge handles taxis, transfers and excursions; the Kite Caddy handles the gear.
The one- to two-night minimum, depending on season and availability, is unusual on this coast and makes a short wind-chasing trip practical.
Ideal for kitesurfers, couples travelling together, small families, and groups sharing a two-bedroom. The whole hotel can also be booked out — sixteen bedrooms sleeping up to forty — for retreats, camps and events.

Beach & Ocean Conditions
This is an oceanfront property located on a natural, changing coastline. Beach width, exposed sand, shoreline conditions, water levels, waves, tides, currents, and ocean access can vary significantly due to weather, wind, seasonal conditions, erosion, and other natural causes.
Photos represent the beach and shoreline conditions at the time they were taken and are not a guarantee of current or future beach conditions.
While beach and ocean access is typically available in this area, safe direct access to the beach or ocean from the property cannot be guaranteed at all times. Guests should never attempt to enter the ocean from the property when conditions appear unsafe.
Swimming, kitesurfing, surfing and other water activities are undertaken at the guest's own risk. The Kristy Collection does not guarantee ocean, wind, wave, beach or weather conditions, or the suitability of conditions for any particular recreational activity.
