About this retreat
Step into easy Caribbean living at Kite Beach Hotel 109 — a newly renovated, ground-floor oceanfront residence in the heart of all the fun activity at Kite Beach, the Dominican Republic's kiteboarding mecca. It is the only one of its kind available for rent, and it lives up to the billing: gorgeous upscale furniture, a full-size kitchen, and glass doors you can leave wide open to the fresh ocean breeze.
The master bedroom features a king bed and a newly remodeled bathroom with a large soaking bathtub. The guest bedroom offers a queen-size bed styled in a bright tropical motif. Two full baths, air conditioning throughout, and high-speed internet mean the unit works just as well for a family with kids as it does for a crew chasing wind.
Mornings are for coffee at the water's edge. Afternoons belong to the trades. Evenings are five minutes from every restaurant and bar in downtown Cabarete — or right here, with the doors open and the surf doing the talking.
