About this retreat
The Kite Beach Suite is a newly renovated 700-square-foot studio on the third floor of Kite Beach Hotel — light, bright and airy, with tropical views and a great breeze moving through it.
The layout does more than a studio usually can. A king-size bed anchors the room, two twin loft beds tuck in above, and a full kitchen — oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, cookware, dishes and utensils — means you can actually cook for four rather than assembling meals on a hot plate. A large table doubles as work space, and there's a separate desk for remote working alongside it.
Air conditioning, a ceiling fan and a standing fan keep it comfortable through the warm hours. Fast Starlink Wi-Fi and a streaming smart TV cover the rest. There's a large closet for gear, a hot and cold water shower, a smart lock so you come and go on your own schedule, and washer/dryer access on site — the small things that make a longer stay work.
Downstairs, the building opens directly onto the sand. The pool sits under palm trees and the beachfront Mesa Tain restaurant is steps away, with Kite Beach — the Dominican Republic's kiteboarding mecca — starting right where the property ends.
Ideal for families with kids, two couples travelling together, and remote workers settling in for a longer stretch.
