About This Stay
Room 102 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment at the Watermark Hotel, an oceanfront property at the heart of Kite Beach in Cabarete. It sleeps five and comes with what a small hotel can provide and a standalone rental usually can't: a concierge, a Kite Caddy, a private pool, a hot tub, and a rooftop balcony built around the sunset.
The building holds eight units across four floors — sixteen bedrooms in total — so the pool deck and the roof stay quiet even in season. Room 102 is one of the two first-floor units, which means no stairs between your door, the water and the sand.
What you're really booking is the location. Kite Beach is where the riders launch, the schools and rental centres are on the same stretch of sand, and downtown Cabarete is five minutes away when you want restaurants and music instead of wind. The concierge takes care of taxis, transfers and excursions; the Kite Caddy takes care of the gear.
The one- to two-night minimum, depending on season and availability, is unusual on this coast and genuinely useful — it makes a short trip built around a wind forecast workable.
