About This Stay
Room 101 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom unit at the Watermark Hotel, an oceanfront property at the heart of Kite Beach in Cabarete. It sleeps five, and it comes with the things a hotel can offer and an apartment usually can't: a concierge, a Kite Caddy, a private pool, a hot tub, and a rooftop balcony where the sunsets happen.
The Watermark is small — eight units across four floors, sixteen bedrooms in total — so the pool, the hot tub and the roof never feel like resort infrastructure. Room 101 sits on the first floor, which means the shortest walk in the building between your door, the pool deck and the sand.
Kite Beach is the point of being here. Riders launch from the sand in front of the property through the trade-wind season, the kite and surf schools are on the same stretch, and downtown Cabarete is five minutes away for dinner. The concierge handles taxis, tours and lessons; the Kite Caddy handles the gear.
The minimum stay runs one to two nights depending on season and availability — unusual on this coast, and useful if you're chasing a wind forecast rather than booking a week.
Ideal for kitesurfers, couples travelling together, small families, and anyone who wants apartment space with hotel services. The whole hotel can also be booked out — sixteen bedrooms sleeping up to forty — for retreats, camps and events.
